Travel from NI
Flying
We recommend Bristol Airport as the easiest to get to and from with regular flights from both Belfast international and Belfast city.
Once in England it is approximately 2hrs drive by car or taxi.
Remember to pack your driving license if planning to hire a car!!
Ferry
We usually use Belfast – Liverpool or Dublin – Holyhead ferries with Stenaline
Please be aware if traveling with dogs using the Dublin ferry will have EU requirements including passport and rabies vaccinations.
Once you get to the UK the drive is approximately 5 hours from Liverpool or 6 hours from Holyhead.
For an easy stop and fuel up along the way we recommend Gloucester services which has a walking route nearby to stretch your legs, cafe/restaurant and farm shop with lots of tempting things!
Driving throughout UK
To get to Marshwood Manor I recommend using satnav.
The signal close to marshwood may be patchy so I recommend turning it on before getting off the main roads!
